Howard E. Becker, 65, of rural Wauseon, Ohio died Tuesday, October
21, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 11, 1949 to the
late Herbert H. and Geraldine (Hardy) Becker. On September 13, 1986,
he married Micky Landman at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon
Township.
Howard was a former self-employed insurance agent and retired from
BAX Global. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon
Township where he was a member of the choir. He was formerly active
in The Masonic Lodge. Howard enjoyed high school baseball and set
many records at Metamora High School which he still holds today.
He is survived by his wife, Micky; sisters, Cheryl Geer of Metamora,
Ohio, and Debbie (Mike) Baker of Apex, North Carolina; and many
special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25
at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township. Interment will
follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral
Home, Napoleon and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Memorials may be made to Ridgeville Twp. Fire Department, St. Paul's
Memorial Fund, or Filling Homes.
