Cathy Ann Kippel (Wotring, Castle), passed away
peacefully, October 24, 2011, surrounded by family, due to complications
from lung cancer. Cathy was born at Bixby Hospital on Aug. 25,
1948. She spent most of her life living in Metamora, Ohio, and
Adrian, Mich. A graduate of Metamora High school, her career focused
in retail sales.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Mark Kippel; mother and stepfather,
Helen and Ed Davis; sister, Jo Ann Lamb; sons and daughters-in-law,
Jeffery and Sara Castle, Brett and Angela Castle; grandsons, Paden
and Liam Castle; and her first husband, Lawrence Castle.
Cathy’s father, Harland Wotring, of Metamora, Ohio, and
brother-in-law, Michael Lamb, of Toledo, Ohio, preceded her in
death.
Her family misses her very much, but is relieved the battle is
over. A memorial will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov.
12, at VFW Post 1584 in Adrian. The family requests that in lieu
of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
