OBITUARY:

Wayne E. Coleman, age 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly outside his home, Thursday evening, January 8, 2015. He was born June 28, 1948, in Delta, Ohio to Samuel and Doris (Glore) Coleman.

Wayne will be remembered as a person who always put others needs before his own, and was willing to volunteer and go out of his way for them. He was a great advocate for people dealing with mental illness, and served on the recovery council of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board in Toledo. He also served as vice president of the Thomas Wernert Center in Toledo, was charter member and past president of New Horizons, and was a member of NPI Tenant Association.

Wayne's hobbies included bowling and swimming. Vacation destinations were all about being near the water.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Doris; children Jeff, Brooke, and Amber Coleman; 7 grandchildren; special friend of 8 years, Susan Billmaier; brother, Ronald; sisters, Colleen and Dean; and many friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Samuel, and daughter, Michelle.

Family and friends may visit Friday, January 16th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service celebrating Wayne's life will begin at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
