I moved to Vegas with Susan : ), grew
up fast and it was there that I met my future husband. We moved
several times and finally settled in Oregon in ’85. I went
back to school in the Dental field and I’m working for an
awesome Pediatric Dentist. My Joy in life is being a Mom & Grandma.
Memories of School: I loved going to the same school that my
grandfather & father graduated from. My best friend in grade
school was Cheryl Woodward and we had a ball doing things together.
Mike Gormley was my childhood sweetheart until I fried his chameleon
while he was on vacation, we played a lot of spin the bottle in
my closet. A not so great one was when the boys locked us girls
under the stage during gym & Mr. Pifer let us out, we ran
& I put my arm thru the glass door that led to our lockers.
I made an onion corsage for the Sadie Hawkins dance for Lynn Truckor.
My marriage to Linda Nye at a slumber party, Susan & I making
our vinyl raincoats in Home Ed class, freshman initiation. A bunch
of us skipped school to go look for a wedding dress (I was going
to marry Gary Hoffman :) and getting caught. I had to ride the
bus for weeks. All the parties, sleepovers, trips with forever
friends.
