SYLVESTER Gennaro "Gerry" Gennaro "Gerry" Sylvester, 60, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Friday July 2, 2010, surrounded by siblings, nieces, and nephews. Gerry was born August 12, 1949, to parents Arthur and Virginia (Damico) Sylvester, and they preceded him in death. He attended St. Elizabeth Grade School in Richfield Center, St. Mary's High School for 1 year, and the Metamora High School for 3 years. Gerry was a Disabled Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Viet Nam War. He was also a member of the Catholic War Vets, Assumption, OH. He is survived by sisters Juliet and Mary Grace Sylvester and Angela (Enrico) Lipparoni; brothers Richard (Kathy) Silvestri, John Sylvester, and Anthony (Amy) Silvestri; brother in law Utsab Chaudhuri; and Godmother Anna Sylvester. He was also preceded in death by his sister Virginia Sylvester. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday July 8th from 4 - 8 PM, where the Rosary will be recited at 5:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at the Little Flower Catholic Church, Friday at 11 AM, where his body will lie in state one-hour prior. Those wishing to give memorials, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider, the Virginia M.
